MLS 2010 Season Preview
I'm pumped.
The 2010 MLS season kicksoff tonight with Seattle hosting debutants Philadelphia. I've had a rough off-season after I witnessed LA lose the cup final in Seattle. I still haven't watched the lowlights from that match. This will be a big year for the league. Sixteen teams will compete meaning each team will play every opponent home and away one time. At the end of the season, we'll have a true "scudetto" shield winner. This is also a World Cup year, which seems to always produce good seasons after the players and fans get inspired by watching the best in the world.
Here is my prediction for season 15.
West
1. LA Galaxy - We are clearly the class of the league. We've picked up some Brasilians and another rookie, Michael Stephens, who could be our third rookie of the year in a row. On top of that, we have the best player in the league, Landon Donovan. Head coach Bruce Arena completely revamped the squad last year and this extra year of solidification should put us on a solid path to lots of wins.

8. Chivas USA - they are the scum of the league.

8. Philadelphia - they havent played a game, but their fans are already the most annoying in the league. That's why I hope they finish last.
MLS also launched a new website today. It's rather flawed and reminds me of websites at the turn of the century that looked patchworked.
