Over the river and through the woods to Prescott
I'm in Bagdad for Christmas again. Yesterday my parents showed my sister and me the back way to get from Bagdad to Prescott. If you look on google maps, you can see the road called NF-21, but it's not paved and it takes about 2 hours to go 30 miles. When you start, you're in the desert surrounded by Saguaro cactii. When you finish, you're surrounded by Pines. The views are great, and we even had to forge a small stream. Unlike Oregon Trail, no one died. At one point I had to open a cattle gate so we could get through. Pictures are here.
