Santa Anita loser

I went to Santa Anita to play the ponies on Saturday. Instead the ponies played me. I lost $21.40. The track and the rest of the day were great. The rain broke just long enough to make the day sunny and the San Gabriel Mountains were totally clear. The KROQ microbrew fest was happening at the inland area of the track. For my first time ever at horse races, I had a great time. Next time I want to go with someone who knows what their doing. Oh, and one horse named "something About Laura" did pay off for me. That was a small bright spot.
