LA Mill Coffee - Pretty Darn Good

First I don't drink coffee. The smell scares me and the one time I tasted it, I was totally grossed out. However, most coffee shops around L.A. serve tea or some type of food I like, so I'm not opposed to stopping in one. LA Mill Coffee in Silverlake (right across from Spaceland) is a great place. I've been several times since its a convenient place to stop before a show at my favorite music venue.

Having never tasted the coffee, whoever I've gone with always says it's top notch. I run with a refined coffee drinking crew, so you can be sure, the coffee is good. I have had a bunch of the teas, including a Ceylon black which was really really good. The place is a bit pricey. It was $9.00 for a pot of the stuff which was served in some very avant-garde kettle and cup. The decor is very post-modern which usually equates to uncomfortable, but in this case, not so. LA Mill Coffee is totally awesome and everyone looking to go to Silverlake should check it out.
