The title of this post is my rendition of the drumming from the Olympics theme song I had in my head all weekend. After the incredible opening ceremony, I watched about 8 hours of the games on Saturday and Sunday. Last night's finish to the 4x100 swim relay was incredible, and I still get goose bumps thinking about it.

Take that you Frogs!
edit: DAMN YOU NBC! They're taking down all online videos of this event. Here is another video of the race.

I'm also thrilled that DirecTV has added an Olympic Soccer Channel and Olympic Basketball channel to my programming for the next 2 weeks. I had no idea that would happen. I'm also pleased that I can hit the red button on my remote whenever I'm on an NBC channel and I can browse Olympic news, and the TV schedule right on my TV.

That relay was awesome. I loved it when the short u.s. swimmer said he heard about "the frenchies talking stuff." That cracked me up. Stupid frenchies.

Someone must have told the French that the Germans would catch them, that is why they went so fast. Even then they got tired and still gave up. I love that they were the last to leave the pool.
